Ed “Edjo” Leslie decided to start RPM Recreational and Performance Motor Show because he was tired of going to a bike show one week, a boat show another week, and a car show in another week.

“ I wanted a show all in one place,” said Ed Leslie. “It is for the locals in a nice rural setting.”

Ed began working on British bikes and soon transitioned to Harley-Davidsons at the tender age of 14 working at a motorcycle shop located at College and Spadina in Toronto Ont. Artistry In Iron is a select showcase that Ed has amassed over the years of Harley-Davidson motorcycles that is on display at RPM.

Though Ed has a keen interest in motorcycles, like many gear-heads, he also appreciates anything with an engine. As well as a motorcycle show; cars, trucks, Big Rigs, antique boats, and vintage tractors were also competing for trophies. Now in its second year RPM has shown itself to be a success. Havelock Ont. (population 4,523) is a sleepy little town located on the Trans-Canada Highway #7, 90 minutes east of Toronto Ont. In the country music world it is famous for the Havelock Country Jamboree now celebrating it’s 26th anniversary which is also hosted by Ed Leslie on 500 acres of land for camping and boasts twin stages. Ed can also bee seen regularly on BIKER TV.
