Quinte C.V.M.G. Rally 2014
The Canadian Vintage Motorcycle Group was formed in 1969. Dedicated to the use and preservation of old motorcycles. The CMVG encourages the preservation of all materials related to the history of motorcycles.
There are now 31 (thirty-one) sections around the country that run various events and support communities activities. The Quinte section held there first rally in Ameliasburg in 1989. Initially the group had negotiated with the Village of Ameliasburg for use of land adjacent to the the museum. The Quinte section rally, inadvertently, found themselves on the adjoining property owned by the Prince Edward Auto Club.
The auto club graciously allowed them to stay and offered to continue hosting the event. Now every July motorcycle enthusiasts come out to share their rich history with each other and the public.
