Quinte Canada Day 2015

Canada Day means many things, but to car enthusiasts in Quinte it means Car Shows.

Despite intermittent showers throughout the morning and in to the early afternoon the Napanee Valley Cruisers and Quinte West hosted car shows. Understandably the turn outs were lower than normal, but the enthusiasm was still evident for show car owners and spectators.

Canada was formed by the British North America Act on July 1^st, 1867 and on June 20^th, 1869 the Governor General Lord Monck signed a proclamation requesting the all the Kings subjects in Canada celebrate the day. Soon after that fireworks, Bar-B-Que’s, outdoor parties, and CAR SHOWS became the law-of-the-land every July 1^st.
