Three Great Causes-One Great event Tuesday night at The Brick on Bell Boulevard.

Big Brothers-Big Sisters, the Good Back Pack program (United Way, Quinte) and the Quinte Humane Society all received cheques for $500 from the organizers of Belleville Cruise Night on behalf of all participants. A further $145.50 was contributed to Big Brothers-Big Sisters by Harry’s Hots, Brighton Ont. from their sales that night.

Freddy Vette’s Rockin’ Road Show arrived at the Belleville Cruise Night. Over 200 hundred cars and their owners came out to enjoy the evening and support the great causes. The Belleville cruise nights have been plagued with rain this year and Freddy’s date had been delayed from August 12th.

Belleville Cruise Night organizers Glady Labelle, Red Thompson and Jack Bradshaw have been running the cruise night for several years. The event was moved to the Brick on Bell Boulevard last year after the closure of the Zellers store. The 50/50 draw winner took home $645.00.
